Little Dreamers, Big Futures: A Summer of Inspiration at Monkey Puzzle Loughton

At Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery and Preschool Loughton, we’re proud to be part of the nationwide Little Dreamers, Big Futures campaign — an exciting initiative running across all Monkey Puzzle nurseries from mid-June to the end of August 2025. This special summer programme is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire our children to dream big about who they are and who they might become.

What is Little Dreamers, Big Futures?

This campaign is more than just seasonal fun — it’s a celebration of ambition, imagination, and the vital role early years education plays in shaping the future. It’s about helping children discover their interests, express their ideas, and feel empowered to explore the world around them.

At Monkey Puzzle Loughton, we’re bringing this campaign to life by:

  • Encouraging children to explore their unique talents and interests

  • Creating hands-on, imaginative learning experiences linked to future careers

  • Strengthening partnerships with families and the local community

  • Supporting parents and carers throughout the early years journey

  • Welcoming new families and early years professionals into our nursery community

What’s Happening at Loughton?

This summer, our team has planned a wonderful programme of activities designed to help our children dream big while having lots of fun along the way. Highlights include:

  • “When I Grow Up” Dress-Up Days – Inspiring role-play where children can dress up as vets, chefs, builders, astronauts, and more

  • Visits from Local Professionals – Real-life role models from our community will visit to share what they do and how they help others

  • Dream Boards and Vision Walls – Creative spaces where children can express their hopes, dreams, and ideas through drawing and storytelling

  • Mini Job Fairs – A playful take on a job fair, with interactive zones where children can explore different professions through hands-on activities

  • Future Job-Themed Activities – From running a pretend shop to looking after animals, children will step into the world of work through imaginative play
