Nursery Practitioner

I’m a dedicated nursery practitioner based in the toddlers room at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery & Preschool in Loughton. With over five years of experience in early years education, I’ve developed a deep passion for supporting young children as they grow, learn, and become independent individuals.

Throughout my career, I’ve completed various professional development courses, including illness and disease in early years, mental health in young children, safeguarding, child protection, paediatric first aid, Level 2 Childcare, and Level 2 Food Hygiene. I believe in continuously improving my knowledge to provide the best care and support for the children in my setting.

What I love most about working in a nursery is seeing the positive impact we have on children's lives. Watching them grow, achieve new milestones, and develop their personalities is incredibly rewarding. Having come from a large family, I’ve always been surrounded by children and naturally found joy in helping shape the next generation.

I chose Monkey Puzzle because of its warm, family-like atmosphere and the opportunities it offers for growth and progression. It's a place where both children and staff are nurtured and supported.
