What is your name and role?

My name is Danielle Harwood, and I am a Apprentice at Monkey Puzzle Loughton.

How did you find the Apprenticeship Scheme process?

I found out about the Apprenticeship Scheme through my line manager.

How are you supported at Monkey Puzzle to develop and progress your career? (What training/development do you access)

I’m always offered lots of training, and I am welcomed to choose training of interest to me. I have regular supervisions in which my line manager and I will discuss my career path and how I can progress.

What fills your heart with happiness about your role?

I love the daily variety and change; no two days are the same. I love watching each child learn something new each day.

What is your potential next step?

I’d like to progress in my career and would like to become apart of the management team one day.

What would you say to anyone looking to become an Early Years apprentice?

I would say go for it, it’s such a rewarding and fulfilling job role! We are looking after the future generation. Watching every one of them grow and develop is something amazing.
