What is your name and role?

My name is Violet and I am a Nursery Apprentice at Monkey Puzzle Loughton!

How did you find the Apprenticeship Scheme process?

I found out about the Apprenticeship Scheme through my college placement.

How are you supported at Monkey Puzzle to develop and progress your career? (What training/development do you access)

I have progressed within my carer as I started in preschool, working alongside studying for my Level 2 qualification.

What fills your heart with happiness about your role?

I chose a carer in Early Years because I enjoy working with children and I love being able to help them grow, learn and develop. I love working in a nursery because I really enjoy taking part in all the activities and communicating with the children everyday.

What would you say to anyone looking to become an Early Years apprentice?

I would say go for it, it’s such a rewarding and fulfilling job role! We are looking after the future generation. Watching every one of them grow and develop is something amazing.
